Manual Therapies

A deep tissue massage uses slow, deliberate, deep-pressure strokes and friction to target and release chronic muscle tension and adhesions (bands of rigid, painful tissue) in the inner layers of muscles and connective tissue. This therapy is particularly beneficial for chronic muscle problems, limited mobility, and muscle recovery from injuries, although some post-treatment soreness is possible. Therapists use their fingers, thumbs, and even elbows to apply pressure and break down these adhesions, restoring normal movement and reducing pain.

Lymphatic drainage massage uses very light movements to increase the flow of lymph and remove toxins. The lymph system plays a vital role in supporting the immune system’s functions, mainly by transporting nutrients and oxygen to cells, and by collecting toxins and flushing them out through the lymph nodes. Improving its flow and drainage is of utmost importance for overall well-being.
